We represent the only fur salon BLACKGLAMA in Russia:

  • Location: Moscow, Red Square, building 3. Third line, second floor
  • Advantages: constant expansion of the range; a wide selection of diverse mink products - including from the newest collection, which just recently went on sale; the opportunity to order individual tailoring of a product made from auction fur; the ability to make payment in any way convenient for you; the opportunity to leave a fur coat or fur coat for storage - and pick it up after the warm period ends

What kind of material is this?

Blackglama is an ordinary mink . Although, to be more precise, it is a mink, but not an ordinary one, but one that meets certain standards.

To sew elite fur coats of rich black (and only black!) color with beautiful “oil” tints of dark brown shades, the skins of specially raised North American minks are used . At the same time, a very strict selection of raw materials is carried out.

Jaay – Mobile – Content – 250*360 – 2

In addition to color, a mandatory characteristic of fur is the same length of guard hair and down . The latter is so dense that if you blow on the fur, it is impossible to see the skin itself. The leather base is always white, very thin, soft and flexible . Such characteristics make this type of mink fur a favorite material for many leading designers, who eagerly use the soft, plush material to create exclusive models with complex cuts.

Determination of authenticity

To evaluate a Black Nafa mink coat, use the following algorithm:

  • Step one - shortcut. Even purchasing from an elite, prestigious salon does not guarantee you authenticity. To protect yourself, check the label, it should be as shown in the photo. The circulation of each model is limited, so on the official website you can get complete information about the purchased fur coat and the name of the farm where the mink was bred. This protection system began to function in 2009, the reason was a lot of fakes of poor quality.
  • Step two is a personal inspection. The fur is so dense that it gives the impression of uniform velvet. Pay attention to what should stop you from buying: bald spots, areas of less dense pile, creaking that appears when compressed, too suspicious a discount. Quality cannot be cheap. It took a lot of time, effort, and knowledge to create such an exclusive product. A real original fur coat will be easily sold at full price.
  • Step three - what's hidden under the lining? The color, as the name suggests, is black. But it can have many shades and nuances. The main condition is naturalness. If you come across a fake, then the mezdra will give it away. Look at the skin itself, the coloring of the original models is uniform, without streaks.
  • Step four is the lining itself. Fashion designers, working with the highest quality material, do not sew a lining to the fur at the bottom of the fur coat or do not use an inner fabric layer at all (as in the photo). If you come across a tightly stitched fur coat, but at the same time it is positioned as an original, then this should alert you.

Using these tips, you will protect your wallet from buying a fake. Be extremely careful not to be persuaded by sellers.

The Black Nafa fur coat is style and chic in fur format. Having such a fur coat, you will feel like a queen. Such an acquisition is an indicator of high status and position in society.

Living deliciously is a whole science!

How to check the number of a BLACKGLAMA® fur coat by the number on the label.

Here you could immediately provide a link to the NAFA website and consider your mission accomplished. But!

  • Firstly, why on the site of the Canadian auction NAFA, and not on the “native” American site Blackglama, as it has been for decades?
  • Secondly, by clicking on this link and checking your fur coat number, you may well get a heart rupture, or some kind of hypertensive crisis. We don’t need either one or the other, so first let’s prepare and understand some of the details.

on the page menu

Problems with checking BLACKGLAMA® labels.

Until February 2021, the BLACKGLAMA® brand was owned by American Legend Cooperative (ALC) , USA, Seattle, Washington. Blackglama mink was sold at his own auction under his own label, equipped with a unique number, several degrees of protection, including glow in ultraviolet light. True, sophistication in protection did not come immediately and labels went through several generations of development. But it seems that their time has passed and they are no longer of practical interest to us.

BLACKGLAMA® label from American Legend Cooperative.

To check a fur coat, you had to go to the website validator.blackglama.com (this is not a link, do not click), enter the number on the fur coat label in a special form and receive the answer “Yor mink is authentic” (your mink is real), or, if you are unlucky – “Your serial number xxxxxx is not recognized in our databese” (Your number xxxxxxx was not found in our database).

BLACKGLAMA® label from ALC in ultraviolet.

The label database on blackglame's "native" site was large and contained numbers for almost all years. For example, the number JM60061 from the old label was clearly visible, and an explanation was given that the label was an old one.

New labels from NAFA.

In February 2021, the American Legend Cooperative (ALC) sold the BLACKGLAMA® brand to the Canadian fur auction NAFA (North American Fur Auctions) . At the same time, the label remained almost unchanged, only the inscription AMERICAN LEGEND® MINK was replaced with EXCLUSIVELY BY NAFA. I checked this label on the old blackglama website. There were no problems.

A transitional version of the BLACKGLAMA® label from NAFA.

This transition period soon ended and NAFA introduced its own label for blackglama. It became unified with the rest of the NAFA auction labels and lost all types of personal protection previously developed in ALC. Instead, NAFA applied its own protection by embedding a special fiber into the label, which becomes visible only when illuminated by a special source of black(!?) radiation. These emitters are issued to fur buyers and the seller of the fur coat must use it to demonstrate the presence of protective fiber.

BLACKGLAMA® label from NAFA. Current option.

But as of January 2021, these emitters have not yet reached sellers in stores. Let's hope they arrive soon. This new label should already be checked on the NAFA website. Everything would be fine, but the database was not transferred from the Blackglama website to the NAFA website! Moreover, checking on the blackglama website was disabled! As a result, there was no place to check all the labels released by American Legend Cooperative. This means that there is nowhere to check fur coats that were not sold out yet, as well as second-hand fur coats!

Another feature of today's blackglama is that at a fur auction the buyer of the furs decides which label to take - BLACKGLAMA® or Black NAFA® .

To be fair, let’s say that at the level of fur quality, the difference between blackglama and blacknafa, other things being equal, is practically absent - these are the same breed of mink, raised in the same conditions. It’s just that blackglama has a higher premium for the brand. Draw your own conclusions...

What follows from the above? There are now at least three types of BLACKGLAMA® labels:

  1. "Native" BLACKGLAMA® labels from the American Legend Cooperative auction.
  2. Intermediate labels BLACKGLAMA® from the Canadian auction NAFA based on the original ones with a modified top line.
  3. New “native” ones from the NAFA auction.

But now only the third option can be reliably checked! We'll talk about this further.

on the page menu

Where to check a blackglam fur coat by number.

Before the problems with the NAFA auction began, to check the number you had to go to the page www.nafa.ca/webcenter/portal/Fashion/pages_labelauthenticity. Currently there is no verification form. As soon as the situation returns to normal, the link will be posted. In the meantime, here is an algorithm of actions when checking a blackglama number. I hope, as in the case of the closure of the “native” ALC auction, it will be preserved.

So, what did we see on the verification page? There were two bookmarks on it - NAFA LABELS

And

LABEL AUTHENTICITY

. Click on the second one and we see this picture:

Fur label check page from NAFA auction.

In addition to the BLACKGLAMA® labels, this page checks four other types of NAFA auction fur labels. Images of all five labels are shown at the top of the page. Here they are:

Label images of the five NAFA fur brands that are reviewed on the page.

  • Black NAFA®
  • BLACKGLAMA®
  • NAFA® Fox
  • NAFA® Mink
  • NAFA® Northern

Then comes the text, my best translation of the meaning of which is as follows:

Consumers who want to verify the authenticity of labels on fur coats are very concerned about the problem of counterfeit luxury labels. To protect its labels, NAFA embeds a special security fiber into them , access to which is strictly limited. This unique fiber is visible only when illuminated with a special black light source , which is issued to retailers and must be demonstrated to the buyer of the product by them. Each NAFA label contains its own unique registration number to ensure authenticity. To verify your NAFA brand, enter your serial number in the text box below:

The meaning of the input field, I think, is clear. The numbers below the VERIFY button are your IP address.

Text under the input form:

For additional inquiries about your NAFA label or assistance in validating an old label , contact Buyer Services at NAFA – or

Comment.

The black lantern is not yet available in stores.

And finally, let's enter the label number from the blackglama fur coat from the NAFA auction . You can take the number from your fur coat, but I will use a photo of a fur coat from the Greek factory Fokos, produced in 2021. As you can see, it already has the new native NAFA labels on it. We don’t pay attention to the sable label – it’s the collar fur.

BLACKGLAMA® label on a fur coat from the Greek factory Fokos Furs.

We insert number BG012265 into the form and get:

Successful verification of the BLACKGLAMA® label on the NAFA website.

Everything is ok, the number is through! Translation, I think, is not needed. I hope everything went well for you too.

How and where to check the Blackglama serial number

So, all products under the Blackglama brand receive their own unique serial number. This is necessary for possible identification of the product.

In order to verify the authenticity of the label, its owner must go to the official website of the company www.blackglama.com and enter the following information in a special form: city, country and serial number indicated on the label (product label). You can check the serial number by following the direct link: validator.blackglama.com

For the above reasons, it cannot be stated that a fur product fully complies with the Blackglama fur quality certificate.

How can you distinguish natural, read, real Blackglama mink from its fake?

  1. Firstly, blackglama fur has a dense texture. To the touch, the fur resembles plush. This is due to the fact that the fur of this type of North American mink is very dense compared to other species.
  2. The guard hair of the bekglama is not high, only a few millimeters lower than the down.
  3. Price. Natural Blackglama cannot be cheap. Its price is at least 150,000 rubles. And if it is trimmed with sable or lynx, then its cost will exceed 200,000 rubles.

As you can see, distinguishing natural blackglama from a fake is not so difficult. The summary will be as follows: evaluate the fur visually and by touch, check the authenticity of the serial number indicated on the label, and check the presence of the product passport.

Mink coats BLACKGLAMA and NAFA - differences between branded products

A mink coat is a diamond in every woman’s wardrobe. Exquisite fur clothing has not gone out of fashion for several decades. New styles and shades are becoming popular, but mink fur is still the best-selling fur in the world. Blackglama and Nafa mink are rightfully considered the best furs in the world. Luxury brands continue to compete vigorously in the global market. Branded fur houses offer customers luxury fur products of the highest quality.

Both brands offer American mink fur that was raised in Canada and America. Blackglama is a co-brand of the Seattle Fur Auction. Less than 2% of the world's fur is given the name Blackglama mink. This is due to the extreme thoroughness of the checks that each of the skins undergoes.

There are clearly established standards for determining the quality of hides by texture, length of fur, its elasticity and density. Each model is assigned its own serial number and quality certificate.

The North American Blackglama mink has a dense undercoat, so outerwear provides good warmth even in the most severe frost. The length of the pile over the entire surface is much shorter than that of Russian or Scandinavian mink. The fur surface does not have a specific direction of pile growth, so it feels like soft silky velvet to the touch.

The color of Blackglama mink is another difference between the fur. Fur products have the so-called chameleon effect. In daylight, the fur has a beautiful brown tint, which becomes more expressive under the sun's rays. At dusk, the fur coat takes on a deep coal-black tone. Such a play of shades cannot be achieved with artificial painting.

Nafa mink accounts for about 8% of the world's fur supply. The main activity of the branded auction house is the sale of raw materials for the manufacture of fur products. The house has several brands that produce sable, fox, otter, coyote and beaver furs. Only the highest quality mink products receive the BlackNafa Canadian mink label.

Canadian mink fur is quite short. It has a well-defined undercoat and a deep, rich shade. Due to its luxurious appearance, many designers choose this type of fur for their collections.

Blackglama and Nafa mink coats can be ordered in the Diana Furs online store. Fur coats have excellent performance properties. They are lightweight, incredibly warm and durable. Such products will faithfully serve their owner for many years.

How to check the authenticity of BlackGlama fur / Fur salon Triumph

According to the traditional statement, mink is a woman’s fur, and therefore every representative of the fair sex strives to acquire a mink coat at any cost. Among furs, mink fur is generally recognized as one of the best. Mink is widespread on the North American continent. Let's talk about it, or rather about such a variety as Blackglama.

Official confirmation of authenticity

  1. It is important to know that you can always check the quality of the purchased product using the authentication form on the official BlackGlama website.
  2. The authenticity of the BlackGlama label can be verified under ultraviolet light. The color of the label should change, as in this example.

For many years, mink skins, as a rule, were sold only at fur auctions. In particular, Blackglama mink is sold at the American Legend auction held twice a year.

In North America, mink has features such as low pile with a natural velvet effect. This is explained by the fact that the silky pile is actually buried in a high, thick and dense underfur, making the fur silky and pleasant to the touch. There is also a type of fur with ultra-short pile on mink, when the fluff is higher than the pile (“plucked” mink).

Experts usually divide North American mink into Canadian and American. The best varieties of black mink have their own name - BlackNafa and, in fact, Blackglama. This mink always appears on the market only in limited quantities, since the animals are raised on specialized farms, so products made from it are guaranteed to be expensive and exclusive.

To recognize a genuine Blackglama, you need to know its distinctive features. As with everything, it is difficult for a simple buyer without special knowledge to do this, but we will present the main external nuances inherent in the Blackglama mink.

All North American black mink on the market carries the LEGENDTM quality seal. Already upon inspection of the mink, when it is sorted, it is assigned brand names - American Legend® and Blackglama®. The quality of mink skin includes three components of the standard: fur density, its saturation and color clarity. Only high-quality skins meet all requirements.

At the American Legend auction, only the best mink is presented, for which a system of classification standards was developed. Of all the skins presented at the auction, less than 1% are awarded the LEGENDTM quality mark. So, we can confidently say that mink with such a label is the best in the world (and the rarest).

The name Blackglama is only given to those mink skins with dark silky fur that have passed all the most stringent selection criteria and meet all stringent standards. Already from the linguistic meaning of the name it is clear that wealth and luxury are the main features of this fur. In other words, if you need respectability, classic elegance and at the same time exclusivity, Blackglama black mink clothes meet these requirements perfectly.

In the fur industry, the color “Black Diamond” is also found, the only difference from Blackglama mink is that the mink skins in this case are tinted, and so it is the same fur.

The appearance of the “Black Diamond” is explained simply: dark mink does not have skins of the same color, the shades are different (blacker or browner), only a small number of them undergo strict selection and receive the “Blackglama” label. Skins that do not meet Blackglama standards are tinted (a method of color treatment, and this is not dyeing), and products made from such fur are “Black Diamond”. Tinting is expensive, so this type of mink is more expensive (each skin is on average 1 euro more expensive).

Genuine Blackglama mink comes with a matching Blackglama® label. Each such label has an individual batch number, by which each skin can be identified. The real label is white, with Blackglama written in large letters. If you place the label under ultraviolet light, this inscription will appear across the entire label in smaller font.

In addition, auctioneers supply the mink for sale with fabric labels and branded passports - for 15 male skins or 25 female skins, 1 set, the authenticity of which anyone can check via the Internet using the service of the site https://www.blackglama.com.

www.evro-mexa.ru

Features and Benefits

The most important and perhaps indisputable advantage of this mink can be considered its appearance.

  • This skin is matte, similar to velvet, and the fur itself has a fairly deep color.
  • The underfur of such a mink is quite thick and dense.

This fur is very wearable and warm. Blackglama is a very rare fur and is not so easy to buy in stores. Wearing a fur coat made of such fur will make your look very sophisticated and elegant, and will emphasize your status.

This fur does not require any interesting styles, since it itself is unique and attracts attention. This fur has a smooth transition from dark brown to blue-black with a deep tint. Such overflow cannot be repeated, and this is precisely the peculiarity of such a mink.

How to check the authenticity of BlackGlama fur

Every woman dreams of a fur coat made of natural fur, which will be a wonderful addition to her look during the cold season. The most popular fur is considered to be mink fur. These animals live in the area of the North American continent. A particularly popular variety is called Blackglama.

Real fur or not?

The quality of the purchased blackglama item can be checked using the form for checking fur for naturalness, which can be found on the company’s personal website. There is another, no less effective method, which is to illuminate the label with ultraviolet light. The shade of the label must necessarily change.

For many years, mink skins have been offered for sale at special fur auctions. Several times a year the AmericanLegend auction takes place, which has already become famous throughout the world. North American mink coats boast such distinctive features as: smooth pile with a slight touch of velvet. How can this be explained? The whole peculiarity lies in the incredibly high underfur. Thanks to this quality, the fur is quite pleasant to the touch and unusually smooth. “Plucked mink” is a special type with very short pile.

The best variety of black mink is BlackNafa, as well as Blackglama. On the world market, products from these companies can be found in very limited quantities. Animals for products are specially raised on farms, so they have rightfully earned the proud title of exclusive and at the same time expensive products.

Blackglama - how to distinguish a fake? Without special knowledge, it is very difficult to even understand whether it is natural or artificial fur. External distinctive features are marked with the LEGENDTM quality mark. When examining natural fur, it is always sorted and assigned so-called brand marks. What determines the quality of mink? There are three main standards: density, color and saturation. Only high-quality mink coats meet the above requirements. The AmericanLegend auction offers those wishing to purchase the best mink that meets all stated quality standards. If we take into account the entire turnover of skins presented at the auction, then it is only 1%. We can confidently say that this mink is the rarest, and therefore the best, in the world.

Blackglama are skins that have incredibly dark, silky fur. They have passed the strictest selection process, which is subject to the most stringent standards. The key features of this company's fur products are exquisite luxury and wealth. Blackglama's fur products fully comply with the necessary requirements and standards of classical elegance. These fur coats will never go out of fashion and it doesn’t matter what style you choose.

The color called "Black Diamond" is not found very often in the fur industry. How is it different from Blackglama's mink? Mink skins are tinted, but all the properties of the fur are preserved. “Black Diamond” appeared for a reason, and the whole point is that mink does not have skins of a uniform color. In order to achieve the most uniform coloring, they should be tinted. Only a small quantity is subject to the strictest selection, and as a result the Blackglama marking will appear on the label. The tinting procedure is very expensive, so mink is much more expensive than a regular fur coat.

Mink from the Blackglama company has its own markings, as well as a special series number. It is very easy and simple to identify each skin. Blackglama's label is always white with the company's inscription. Ultraviolet rays will instantly transform the inscription from capital letters to capital letters.

At auction, mink with fabric labels is sold, and the main confirmation of its quality is a company passport. Authenticity can be verified online in a matter of moments. In this way, you can deprive yourself of all kinds of doubts.

Was it useful? Tell your friends!

Brands

As already mentioned, BLACKGLAMA is a brand of mink skins that are sold at a fur auction in the United States, the main buyers of which are fur manufacturers from Japan, Korea, China, Greece and Italy. That is why you should not be guided by the widespread and contemptuous, but illiterate opinion about “Chinese or Turkish blackglame”; you should first check the serial number of the fur coat and its external parameters; it may well be the real thing.

Some of the famous Greek brands that produce BLACKGLAMA mink coats are “CHRISOS FURS”, “Artisti Elena”, “ESTEL FURS”, Italian ones, “Tritone furs”, “Due Fratelli” and “O'Merinos”, whose production is located in China , Russian fur factories “Kalyaev” and “ELENA FURS”.

What is this - Nafa?

The word Black Nafa consists of two parts, the first defines the color scheme, and the second is an abbreviation. It stands for North American Fur Auctions, which means North American fur auction, where only the highest quality, one might say, ideal mink skins are exhibited. It is from them that chic models for catalogs are created.

Black Nafa is a criterion of a high level, top position in the world. An ordinary person can hardly afford a mink coat with the Nafa brand, because it is expensive. In addition, it would be blasphemy to ride in it on public transport.

What are the advantages of the legendary Blackglama fur:

  • Very thick underfur
  • The finest and most frequent guard hair

This fur is incredibly soft and delicate: it feels like silk and looks like velvet. Another characteristic feature of Blackglama mink is its deep and iridescent black color. Due to its naturalness, it has a lot of shades under the fluff - and can shimmer from grayish-blue, playing under the sun or under artificial lighting with all the shades of its facets. Of course, lower quality fur, dyed black, does not have such a rich palette. An important advantage of products made from selected North American mink is frost resistance and durability. An exquisite fur coat or an elegant coat will keep you warm even in the most severe frost. And this unique fur does not become covered with frost when exposed to sub-zero temperatures and high humidity. The wear resistance of elite mink allows the product to withstand dry cleaning or cutting without any consequences. Over the course of many seasons, the quality of this fur will remain exactly the same as on the day of purchase. And if you need a truly durable mink coat that will be a good investment in your image, then choose Blackglama.

Unfortunately, this legendary brand is not only the most popular today, but also the most counterfeited. Every year a huge number of fur products come onto the market with a fake Blackglama tag, which contains a counterfeit number. Therefore, the issue of distinguishing a fake from an original is quite acute.

How to identify genuine Blackglama mink fur? 3 secrets of a luxurious fur coat

Blackglama or not Blackglama? This question inevitably arises when it comes to purchasing a fur product with a treasured patch. Yes, this mark can only be seen on the most luxurious fur coats, made from selective mink, which is grown in the USA. However, sometimes a trademark is skillfully counterfeited, and it can be difficult for a beginner to identify a fake. But it is still possible. How? There are 3 secrets that lovers of true luxury should know.

Secret No. 1. Don’t look, but stroke!

A true Blackglama mink should not be examined, but felt: it is by touch that its quality is determined. If the fur coat is genuine, it will be:

  • very dense - its texture seems to be plush, reminiscent of velvet in tactile sensations;
  • short-haired - the height of the hairs will be small: the main hair is only a few millimeters higher than the height of the underfur.

If it is noticeable that the guard hair is too long, or it is simply uneven and sloppy, this means that the product is a fake. Even the most careful haircut will not hide defects, because real Blackglama mink fur is never cut. Its luxury lies precisely in the fact that the fur itself has the same length of guard hairs, it is like that “from birth.”

Secret #2: Enjoy the color.

Blackglama fur can also be distinguished by its shade. If this is a genuine fur coat, then the skins for it were “supplied” by a special type of mink - animals raised by the American Legend company, whose hairs have a rich and deep black color. At the same time, the shade is not monochromatic - it shimmers. To see all the facets of genuine Blackglama, you should:

  1. Place the product in daylight.
  2. Study the color tone of the fur coat.
  3. Make sure that the fur has charcoal, jade, and oil tints - the tonality can vary from brown to greyish, from black to blue.

The fake will have an even shade. At the same time, the fur coat itself may well be made very shiny (this is often typical for products made in China), but this is not a sign of quality. Real fur does not shine, it simply changes shades, and under dimmer artificial lighting it may completely lose its shine, but still retain its luster.

Secret No. 3. Study the skins.

This should also be done by touch. In genuine Blackglama, the bottom layer of skins is flexible and thin - there is not a single rough area. This is a natural feature of this type of mink - it is thanks to it that craftsmen can recreate any design options. Fake fur coats will not have such softness.

And the easiest way

If all these options still raise doubts about the authenticity of the fur, you can use the classic verification method: using the product identification number. Each batch of skins has a serial number, which can be found on the fabric label:

  • collar area;
  • wrong side;
  • numbers to the right of the brand name;
  • The number is printed parallel to the side seam.

At the same time, transverse stripes of several colored threads (yellow, blue, red - only in this sequence) are also printed on the reverse side of the label. The threads do not intertwine and do not bristle.

If the number is easily found on the Blackglama website, and the additional protection in the form of stripes matches the description, then the fur coat is genuine. You can also clarify its origin by the holographic nature of the label - watermarks are highlighted in the light of an ultraviolet lamp. However, this is typical only for products “younger” than 2010.

Are all the signs the same? Then there is no doubt: the fur is genuine. If you have questions about it, it is better to refuse the purchase - a real Blackglama is worth approaching its choice carefully and looking more carefully for true perfection.

tvoi-noski.ru

Identify a fake? Easily!

You can check the originality of the product offered by the seller by looking at the label sewn on the front of the fur coat. On a white background, the brand name is depicted in black letters, and on the end there is an identification number, by which you can find out the authenticity on the official website.

On the reverse side of the sew-on label there are three stripes: red, yellow, blue. Moreover, now on the label under ultraviolet light you can see a hologram of blue characters in the form of the name of the unique fur.

It happens that not entirely honest factories, purchasing several skins at auction, sew similar labels on all their goods, deceiving buyers. In this case, you can expose the “businessman” according to certain signs:

  • If the lining is sewn to the hem, then this is a clear sign that there is hidden underneath, either with traces of tinting after painting, or poor-quality tailoring.
  • Real Black Llama fur is so thick that when you blow on it, it is impossible to see the white base. Otherwise, this indicates a fake.
  • If you pinch the fur and pull, there should be no lint left in your hand. It is also recommended to rub the pile with a damp white cloth. If there is a dark spot left, you should refrain from purchasing.
  • If you run your palm against the fur, the perfect fur, like silk velvet, will take on its previous appearance, and the “pretender” will give himself away by ruffling himself.
