By the way, a fair share of the local market for leather and fur products belongs to Vietnamese citizens. Even during the Soviet Union, they came to the Republic of Belarus to work at agricultural engineering factories, but subsequently changed their occupation, going into commerce. Sellers in conversations with buyers admit that “everything is brought from Moscow.” Goods are purchased at wholesale markets for cash and at low prices. At the end of October, operatives, together with colleagues from the Inspectorate of Taxation in the Novobelitsky district, in one of the pavilions of the shopping center on Pushkin Street, established the fact that an individual entrepreneur was selling foreign-made fur products without documents confirming their purchase. 15 fur products (short fur coats, sheepskin coats) worth 147,600,000 rubles were seized.
A day later, in one of the trading pavilions of the Prudkovsky market, it was established that an individual entrepreneur was selling fur products - 2 nutria fur coats worth 7,000,000 rubles each, men's sheepskin coats made of mouton worth 5,000,000 rubles without documents confirming their purchase. 3 fur products were seized for a total amount of 19,000,000 rubles.
In early November, during a set of operational and preventive measures, it was established that in the Snezhnaya Koroleva shopping center on Pobedy Avenue, an individual entrepreneur was selling fur products (4 short fur coats and 2 sheepskin coats, 6 short fur coats and 2 mink fur coats) produced by the Russian Federation and Greece without documents confirming the legality of their acquisition. 14 products worth a total of 194,000,050 rubles were seized from illegal circulation.
Materials on the identified offenses have been sent to the court, where the issue of bringing the violators to justice and confiscation of the “illegal” goods will be decided.
