Knitting a hat with earflaps is not that difficult. Below is a model made in garter stitch, in which the loops in the front and back rows are knitted as front ones. A knitting master class consists of just a few steps:
- For the first eye, cast on 12 stitches on straight knitting needles and knit, adding 1 st in each row on both sides until their number becomes 20. Next, knit 16 rows with knitting needles without adding.
- At the beginning of the row, we cast on 8 loops with a working thread and knit another 22 rows without increments. Set aside the finished piece of fabric and tie the second eye, similar to the first.
- For the visor, cast on 22 loops. Knit, adding 2 stitches in each row on both sides until their number becomes 30. Next, knit 26 rows without adding.
- Transfer all the parts to one knitting needle in the following sequence: ear, visor, ear.
