I wandered into Soft Gold a couple of lei ago when I was looking for a sheepskin coat for myself. I have already visited several stores, but have not found the model I need. I needed a long one, with a good hood and definitely warm. Not a thin blouse, but a sheepskin coat with long natural fur, but it had to look elegant and not make me look like a Chukchi in the tundra.

As soon as I entered, the consultants immediately turned to me. They stood and watched like predators assessing my condition. Is it worth approaching this “I just came to see” kind of thing. Still, one girl came up to me with a friendly smile and an on-duty “Can I help you?” At first I turned on “just have a look”, but soon realized that Soft Gold is not so easy to navigate. The help of a consultant is necessary. I walked around, looked, then looked around in search of “my” girl, she immediately grew out of the ground. Later I realized that I was lucky with the consultant. I voiced to her all my requirements for a sheepskin coat, ending with “so that it’s inexpensive.” She said: “There is one” and immediately took me to the ground floor, it turns out there is even more choice there. She purposefully walked up to one of the racks and pulled one out of a pile of sheepskin coats and declared: “Here it is!” I tried it on and was stunned: it was exactly what I needed. There was a 50% discount on it, since it was from last year’s collection and it was in August. Well, of course, I tried on a couple more for comparison, but the best, warmest model was the first one. I also tried on mouton fur coats. I thought about taking a fur coat later, I was already very cold. I decided that I would look at the fur coats later, when they were at a discount, because without a discount they were too expensive, clearly overpriced. I didn’t have any money with me, they put my sheepskin coat aside and I came to pick it up in the evening.

In this kind of store, a competent consultant is very necessary. There are a lot of products, it’s difficult to search, after the fifth fitting, all the models seem to be “the same person.” But consultants are often abused. I hate it when they start buttoning me up and dressing me like a child in kindergarten in the winter. Well, no need to pull my hood, no need to roll up my sleeves, it’s obvious that they are big. I can button myself. If this is very difficult, then why am I asking for such a model? I probably bought it from Soft Gold because I came across a competent consultant. I would not have found this model on my own.

I still wear this sheepskin coat with pleasure; it turns out to be of very high quality. The only thing is that at first the lint fell out a little, but I had this with all sheepskin coats. But I didn’t need a fur coat; the sheepskin coat turned out to be warm.
