CENTRAL ARENA

The international interactive festival of contemporary art ARTLIFE FEST is expected from October 25 to October 31, 2021.

From January 1 to December 31, 2021 - FREE ENTRANCE: Project “Manege. 200 years in the center of events" introduces Manege guests to the most interesting and sometimes paradoxical facts that happened to the Manege during its entire existence. The country's main exhibition hall has always been located not only geographically at the very walls of the Kremlin, but also in the very heart of the historical and cultural aspects of life in the capital. During the preparation of the anniversary project, rare documents, photographs and video materials reflecting the history of the Manege were found in the archives of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The exhibition consists of several removable blocks. Visitors will find out what image the Central Exhibition Hall has on a wide screen; They will hear entertaining stories about the Manege from the mouths of leading young actors in Russia, see posters made by the Printing House of the Imperial Moscow Theaters and much more.
