Fur factory "Elena Furs": the beginning of the brand's history
The Elena Furs fur factory opened in Pyatigorsk in 1991. At the beginning of its professional journey, the factory specialized in nutria products and was mainly engaged in wholesale trade.
The situation changed in the 2000s, when it was decided to develop retail trade. The first store was opened in St. Petersburg, then in Moscow. Today there are 21 Elena Furs brand stores in Russia.
Factories are located in Russia (Pyatigorsk and Moscow), as well as in Italy and Greece, which is famous for its skilled furriers.
The company pays great attention to the quality of raw materials.
Mink coat Elena Furs - reviews

Elena Furs' management is not very concerned about the topic of client retention. Russia is big, someone will come to the net. In their concept (the client is always right) there is NO such concept. They will turn the situation around in such a way that a simple request to change the size of a product will cost wasted nerves, humiliation of self-esteem, loss of time and money because... It is impossible to wear a product of a smaller size; it is not realistic to sell it for the money spent. Filing a lawsuit can take a year (in all likelihood, the courts have been lured). And DO NOT DREAM about turning it in and getting money. The work is based on a one-goal game.

I came to the store with the goal of buying a fur coat, after seeing an advertisement on TV about discounts and installment plans. After monitoring the site, I chose certain models of fur coats and saved the articles. Entering the store, I was confused by the persistent smell of the “menagerie”. I found a free consultant and asked to show me the fur coats by article number. Taking a quick look at my screenshots, the consultant told me that these models had already been sold out and there were no more fur coats at these prices, and she ran away. Although the store is only the first day since it opened in our city and only 5 hours have passed since its opening. Looking ahead, I will say that later I called online consultants and they confirmed the availability of these models in the store. I found another free consultant and asked him to show me other models. She brought one to try on and showed the second one, a transformer with a detachable bottom. In response to my request to unfasten the bottom in order to evaluate how the fur coat looks on me in a shortened version, the consultant unzipped me a little in front. I asked to unfasten it completely (after all, the cost of a fur coat is almost 100 rubles, so you can buy it without looking), but I was told that if she unfastens and fastens it for me, it will take half a day, and she needs to serve other customers, and she walked away. Those. Am I not a buyer? I decided to unfasten the hem myself, then a consultant immediately ran up with the question: “Are you going to fasten it yourself?” I fastened it myself, showing the consultant that it took 5 seconds, and not half a day, as she said. Next, I wanted to look at the inside of the fur coat, but the lining was sewn on. The consultant said that you can look through a special feeder, which is located in the middle of the lining, approximately 15 cm wide, through which nothing is visible. When I asked why the lining was sewn on, it was said that this was a new specificity. The fact that this consultant cannot explain the difference between expensive and cheaper fur coats and misleads with incorrect information is not so bad, but the boorish attitude is too much. There was a feeling that after trying on the second fur coat, I simply had to make a purchase, otherwise the consultant was already starting to get annoyed. The mood from such a service was completely ruined. Having given her the fur coat, I left. I don't know if I will have the desire to return to this store.

“Elena Furs”, stop fooling people: how much does a regular mouton fur coat with a 70% discount cost you? Whereas, for example, in “Sarback” for the same price, a little over 30 thousand, you can buy a very decent fur coat))) Your fur coats are quite expensive, in fact, there are no 70% discounts , stop treating people like idiots!!!

Never buy fur coats from Elena Furs!! The quality of the fur is very poor, the technology for tinting the fur is not followed, the hands are all black. The buttons are all covered in Tatar rhinestones - they don’t look good at all. The price does not justify the quality! Zero service and all the same models, no variety!

Having seen enough advertisements about discounts and installment plans, Elena Furs ran to the store to fulfill her dream of buying a new mink coat. After trying on many options, I finally found it. The color, length, and style are exactly what I wanted! It took a long time to arrange an installment plan (which turned out to be the most common loan by the way) and my fur coat. I came home and, waiting for frost, hung it in the closet. Three weeks later it’s -5 outside the window and I happily take it out of the closet. And then the joy came to an end... I noticed a bald spot under the hood. Having examined the entire fur coat, I found another one in the sleeve. My mood deteriorated, but knowing that the fur coat was under warranty, I didn’t worry too much. I went to the store. The administrator (that’s how she introduced herself) said that there was nothing to worry about, it was just that “the seams have come apart and need to be tightened.” On a fur coat worth a quarter of a million, the seams just came apart!!! Having said that it was necessary to return it within 2 weeks (the girl is incompetent and does not know that during this period it is possible to return a product of proper quality, but with a defect the terms are different). She offered only one option - take it to a seamstress and fix the defect. I even agreed to an exchange, but not to the restoration of a NEW product. Today I’m going to the store (they asked me to leave the fur coat for inspection by a merchandiser), pick up the fur coat and do the examination myself. But I feel that even after the examination, they will not want to make a return and will have to go to court. It’s a shame that I gave myself such a “gift” for the New Year ((Girls, I’m writing not so that you will avoid this store (it’s quite possible that there’s something decent there), but so that you’ll be more vigilant! Good luck to everyone and happy shopping!

I would like to share my impression of visiting the widely advertised chain of fur stores “Elena Furs” (Elena Furs), or rather the store on Nevsky Prospekt, 90-92 in St. Petersburg.
My review is mainly devoted to the quality of the product and concerns my suspicions regarding this quality.
So, I ended up in this store a little by accident (although not entirely... I was choosing a vest, but that day I wasn’t ready to buy it), I just walked past and saw a sign with a brand that I didn’t know before and hadn’t seen at this address .
Walking through the halls of the above-mentioned store, I was not impressed... somehow the atmosphere did not inspire confidence in the products, it reminded me of Turkey. Here, by the way, it should be noted that I have had enough fur products in my life (and still have them) so that I don’t get too “fussy” when buying... and there is enough literature and other information around to broaden my horizons in this direction and help myself in choosing - The purchase is not cheap and not for one day.
Then, finding myself almost at the exit and not seeing the vests (since they are what interests me at the moment), I got ready to leave the store. But a pleasant young man (one of the three sitting on the sofa at the entrance) began to take an active interest in what I needed and it turned out that there were still fur vests. I believe that it was the seller... A charming man... only he had a somewhat oriental appearance and this was surprising (in view of the fact that furs in advertising are positioned as Russian). I have nothing against citizens of other countries, but again it reminded me of Turkey and their fur products. Secondly... well, I’m not used to the fact that furs and goods of this class are offered to me in St. Petersburg in the format of an oriental bazaar (it’s just that the specifics of selling such products do not require such a manner of selling such products... as, damn it, in a market with an active bargaining...).
In addition, on TV advertising tells me that this is Russian production and Russian furs, so the sellers I met and their selling style were a little discouraging... but that’s not the point in the grand scheme of things.
I didn’t like any of the vests on display and I tried to go out again, but then I found a lynx vest in the window... By the way, I don’t accept clothes made from cat fur... And in general, I only buy fur from animals that actively breed on farms and specifically for such purposes (clothing, etc.). The lynx is clearly not one of those animals... and I think it’s terrible that they make something out of them. But the seller was so sticky that I gave up and agreed to try it on... The vest fit well, this was not surprising, since half of this vest consisted of knitted elastic and it fit snugly to the body. But when I took it off, I was shocked to find that a huge amount of fur (hairs) had stuck to my turtleneck...
To my astonished look, the seller said that since the item is new, it needs to be combed and it will stop losing hair!!! Tough! Am I buying a kilogram of sausage? If you’re selling a vest for 55,000, you should comb it yourself before selling it!
By the way, the advertisement said something (on TV) about the fact that the prices were low (or not high). I inform you - this is a lie! Prices are the same as everywhere else, and even with questionable quality, and in my opinion, even overpriced for some products... Well, okay, now about the quality of the product...
REMEMBER!!! AND BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING SUCH CHEAP PRODUCTS SUCH AS FUR COATS, ETC. FUR:
If you lightly pinch (just pull just a little and carefully, you don’t need to specifically rip it out, otherwise you’ll definitely tear it out) when trying on a fur coat and you still have fur in your hands, this means that the animal’s skin went through a period of molting during its lifetime! And don’t expect that in the “inanimate state,” that is, in the form of a fur coat, this process will stop for the skin. That is, after wearing such a fur coat for a very short time, you will have a product with bald spots, scraggly, and a pitiful appearance. Add to this your grief over the money spent and the shabby appearance.
So, what I mean is that that vest in “Elena Furs” (Elena Furs), which supposedly needed to be combed out... in fact, shed and would continue to shed for a long time, until all the fur was lost...
By the way, the seller supposedly called the director (or maybe there really was a director, but also of an unusual appearance for me) and he offered me a significant discount. So significant that I again remembered my youth and the markets of Turkey, Egypt, and others like them. Bargaining in an Arab country is a pleasant and gambling thing, but when it happens in St. Petersburg, on Nevsky Prospekt and in a store that positions itself (in a huge number of advertisements on TV) as almost “elite” and not popular... it became again I somehow felt uneasy, doubts were getting stronger and stronger, the thing was not of high quality and, in addition, it was made from an animal, which I adore in its living form, and not in the form of clothing.
At the same time, the price tag was like that of high-quality fur clothing, good cut and decent wear resistance.
In short, I imagined the quality of the other more serious products (for example, a fur coat), I realized that I would not go there again, but I did not check, since I had been brushing off the fur for at least 10-15 minutes, and I dirtied my coat with it. There was no point in inspecting other products, since at first glance I saw some suspicious models, I already had fur coats for the winter, I was not interested in them yet and I left the store.
I strongly recommend that everyone who is planning such a purchase acquire knowledge about how the quality of fur products is determined, the quality of the skins... there are not so many of them, it is quite possible to master them, they are not complicated, these rules. But they will save nerves, money and peace of mind.
The advice I gave here is NOT the ONLY one that should be followed when buying a fur coat... such information can be found if you work a little, but a good fur coat will please you for more than one season.
I also advise you to pay close attention to the quality of the mesh and the lining/method of attaching the lining (there is enough information on checking their quality on the Internet). If the fur is dyed, then the quality of the dyeing and so on.
Actually, I have nothing against low-quality items, I think that apparently there will be a buyer for them (who doesn’t need high quality, or can’t afford it, but still wants a fur coat), but gentlemen, store owners “ Elena Furs” (Elena Furs) you need to have a conscience... similar things and the price should be similar. Then the buyer will not be deceived, for a modest amount he will buy himself a little thing for half a season and, perhaps, will not be too offended - after all, the price corresponds to the quality...
And one more thing: sometimes I have already heard similar statements from sellers, that, like, the fur needs to be combed out, that the thing is new and that’s why the fur is falling off it... But what’s strange is, sometimes buying fur products for yourself, and already having some in your wardrobe, none of them lost hair upon purchase (I checked BEFORE purchasing) and do not lose it after 3-4 seasons, I have never combed out any of them! How shoud I understand this?
That is, they are trying to convince me like a “sucker” that some products need to be combed, while others do not? Moreover, both are made of the same fur! How so? In my opinion, this is a swinish, boorish lie (I’m embarrassed to say a more appropriate word) and in such cases we are talking about large sums.

But I was unlucky. I bought a beaver fur coat from Elena Furs in August 2017. Warranty period is 1 month from October 1. Even though I live in the Urals, even in the worst year we don’t wear a fur coat in October. And this year November was warm too. I put on my fur coat on December 1st. And on December 3, a large hole appeared on the left side - the seams had come apart. I only walked along the street. I can imagine what would happen if I traveled on public transport during rush hour... I would probably only have a hood left. It's a pity.

My first fur coat. I relied on advertising (apparently it wasn’t worth it). I bought a cork coat just above the knee. The seller actively praised the quality and style. As a result, on the very first day the loop on the collar came off. After 3 days the hook flew off. The model is cut incorrectly; there is practically no overlap in the area of the hooks. As a result, with any movement (walking, driving a car), the fur coat in the chest area “moves apart” and must be constantly adjusted. Stop deceiving people!!! You entice with installment plans, a person buys, and then suffers with your “product”...

On December 27, 2021, I bought a mink fur coat for a rather large sum of 178,400 rubles. After the first two weeks, the threads on the hem came apart (I am attaching a photo). We immediately contacted the store with this problem, to which we heard accusations against us about wearing the product incorrectly, although I wore it very carefully, and when sitting down, I made sure to unfasten the lower loops. We also heard the following words: “So what? Our sable fur coats cost a million and are falling apart, what did you want?” and this is what the store representative Elena Furs says, every employee is the face of the company, then what kind of company is it if the employees openly declare the inadequate quality of their goods??? How can a good fur coat with normal tailoring come apart at the seams in the first weeks? After a discussion with the manager, she finally agreed to give the fur coat for hemming. Okay, it seems like everything was settled and forgotten, BUT! On February 27, 2018, while getting dressed, I discovered the following: under the sleeves in the armpit areas there were holes with threads sticking out on both sides!! The next day we went to the store again, the manager invited a man, as I understood, who was engaged in sewing fur coats, to which he stated that he did not see anything)) pointing out this defect, they heard the answer “well, it’s coming apart at the seams” without desire left to continue talking with us. In general, we wrote a statement, and today they answered us by email that they doubt the defect is their fault and will conduct an examination at their expense, subject to confirmation of the defect. Now I wonder how it will all end and how much nerves you need to spend?
Dear! Pay attention to this situation and be more attentive to your customers and quality!

On January 3, 2021, I bought a mink coat for 113,400 rubles. in the Elena Furs store (SPB Trade LLC in the Mega-Parnas store. The purchase was arranged for me in installments, which turned out to be the most common loan that was imposed on me. When I brought the fur coat home and opened the case, I felt a sharp, specific unpleasant odor emanating from the fur coat . Also, upon careful inspection of the fur coat, I discovered a stain on the textile belt. The next day after the purchase, I called the seller at the store and complained about the shortcomings, but after the conversation I hoped that the unpleasant smell would disappear and left the fur coat in the wardrobe. However, during this time the smell came from the fur coat did not disappear, and moreover, the wardrobe smelled of this smell! On January 10, 2021, I went to the Elena Furs store, since the fur coat did not suit me, due to the peculiarities of my health condition, namely a severe form of allergies, which is confirmed by medical certificates, and also due to the fact that the fur coat was sold to me used, I decided to return the fur coat to the store. The seller offered to replace the fur coat, but the required fur coat was not available, and therefore I was asked to write a statement refusing to exchange and demanding accept the goods and return the money. The seller drew up an inspection and acceptance certificate for the goods, indicating in the column “Traces of use, damage: There are no traces of use. Stains on the belt, strong smell.” On January 17, 2021, the seller conducted an examination at the Center for Independent Consumer Expertise Foundation, from the conclusion of which it followed that the fur coat does not retain its marketable appearance and does not have manufacturing defects associated with violations of the technological processes of skin dressing. On January 22, 2021, I filed a claim with the same demand for a refund. However, they refused to return the money to me. Since March 5, 2021, the case has been in the Kalininsky District Court, and at the moment I have filed an appeal against its decision. As of today, April 20, 2019, the fur coat has been in the store for more than 1 year and my question remains unresolved. I advise everyone to avoid the Elena Furs store and under no circumstances buy anything there! Good luck to everyone and quality shopping!

If you want to buy a fur coat, go to Elena Furts' store!!!! Once you've spent your money on a product that seems worthy, the fun begins. My story began at the end of January 2021, I bought a fur coat in a store on the street. Lyublinskaya good service, euphoric impression of the purchase. Of course I want to wear a fur coat, it’s freezing outside, I put on a fur coat and understand that I can’t be in it, because the fur coat gives off a persistent smell of formaldehyde. During the fur coat season, I tried to wear the fur coat two more times and the result was the same, they say the smell will disappear, only the season is already over, but I have great doubts that the smell will disappear. When communicating with the store’s lawyer, it turned out that it was my own fault because I didn’t notice the smell from the fur coat - and this was in a well-conditioned room. Technologies apparently do not know how to work with chemicals, but what does the buyer have to do with it and why should they be trained at our expense? They offered to do the examination at my expense, persistently. If anyone has the same situation, please don’t be silent and post your feedback.
