Market Gardener: cheap rows. Where to look and what you can buy there

Where to look for cheap rows on Sadovod

There are several ways to get there.

If you enter from the first line, then we reach the 16th line and follow it to the very end.

We are running into cheap rows. You will recognize them immediately: by the price tags posted and the crowds of people.

These freebie tents start from the “Bird Market” sign and (if you stand with your back to it) go straight (you’ll run into a covered pavilion).

There are several small branches (several dozen more tents): two small parallel rows to the left at the end of this line. If you turn around and go in the opposite direction again to the “Bird Market” sign, then two more small parallel rows to the left. All. You can walk through this cheap line in 15 - 20 minutes at a leisurely pace, looking at the assortment.

Entry from the parking lot

If you come by car, park at entrance 5 or 6.

If you go through this entrance, you just end up on the cheap row. There you will find your way according to the description above. This line, when viewed from the parking lot, goes from entrance 5 to 8 (approximately). Where entrance 8 is, next to it is the Bird Market.

At these entrances there is a stop to the Novokosino, Novogireevo metro stations, etc.

Landmark from the street: Bird Market sign. Fishing and hunting. You can go there and immediately turn left. This will be the cheapest line.

Cheap rows on the Gardener market diagram

It’s not known who I bought it from and who I should ask from.

There are few suppliers of fur products and they are located in Italy, Greece, Belarus, Canada and China. The same manufacturers supply products to the market and to boutiques. The batches, sewn in one workshop, are partly purchased by large sellers from the Sadovod shopping center, and partly by brand stores. As a result, fur coats of the same brand and country of origin are the same on the market and in a large store. The difference in the markup reaches 100%, which is not in favor of the market.

Sales of “no-name” brands on Sadovod, as on any other market, are the main problem. Leather and fur products are sold here in a separate pavilion. At the entrance there are a lot of salespeople inviting you into their departments. Wanting to sell goods, they call themselves by someone else's name and lead them to their store. If you ask where the desired department is located, then in half the cases you will be directed to another place. Our traders adopted this trick from the enterprising Turks and Egyptians.

The disoriented buyer ends up in a completely different place than where he was going. In this case, there is really a greater chance of succumbing to the persuasion of a random seller.

Remember!

If you run into an unscrupulous seller and buy a low-quality product, then there will be no one to ask.

Make it a rule to buy a fur coat only from a trusted seller (or even sellers). Better yet, make an appointment in advance. There are a lot of shops in the pavilion. It is difficult to notice the desired sign among others. Anyone can forget the route, the number of the sales area, or get lost in the labyrinth of aisles. For this reason, large sellers have their own websites. Here are contact details for prompt communication in any convenient way: telephone, VK, instant messengers. Feel free to call and make an appointment. In this case, they will meet you at the entrance, help you park, and lead you to the store.

Range of cheap rows

Quite varied, if not to say that you can buy almost everything there:

  • Shoes
  • Outerwear
  • Swimwear
  • Casual wear
  • Dresses, suits, skirts, shorts
  • T-shirts
  • Jeans
  • Baby clothes
  • Men's clothing
  • Underwear
  • Belts
  • Bags
  • Pajamas
  • Hats

Where to buy yarn on Sadovod

Mainly according to the season. In summer it will be difficult to find a large selection of down jackets and winter boots, but there are many stalls with swimsuits and flip-flops.

By September 1st - school uniform, formal suits. For the New Year - dresses. But this is not a rule; you can buy both a fur coat and a bikini there all year round. The difference is in the number of products offered.

"Chinese" quality

Expensiveness is not always a sign of high quality. China is the largest producer of fur coats and fur. There are a lot of cheap, low-quality products imported from the Middle Kingdom, but also a lot of well-made, inexpensive products made from elite fur. Very often, Chinese fur coats with loose pile, which stain skin and clothing, are passed off as more expensive fur. They can be identified visually if you have experience.

In pursuit of easy money, the seller may quote a price several times higher than the market value of such a product. Even those who are well versed in fur can “buy into” such deception on “Gardener”. It happens.

Protect yourself: find the websites of large sellers, for example, Fur Boutique, call and make an appointment.

Buying rules on the cheap Gardener rows for beginners

  1. Do not hurry. This is especially true for those who are going for the first time. Eyes widen, hands reach out to buy - everything is so cheap! You will still have time. Walk the line from start to finish several times. Take a closer look and compare prices. Despite the similarity of the assortment, in one tent a tracksuit can cost 1,000 rubles, in another tent exactly the same - 700 rubles.
  2. Open the package and check the clothes or shoes in place. It happened that people were given two left shoes. Torn dress, wrong size. And other unpleasant nuances. There, without leaving the tent, open the package and look. Do not hurry. Sellers don't like it, but you have the right to it.
  3. Use your head. I want to get everything at once. Think three times: are you sure you will wear this? Eliminate the options “it will come in handy”, “well at least I’ll wear it at home”, “where else can I buy it so cheap”. It's like shopping in Auchan when prices were low. Looks like I bought a little bit of everything. And the prices are cheap, but the end result is a round sum and a full cart.
  4. Bring a backpack or large bag with you. Whichever is more convenient for you. You will put small bags into one big one. It is more comfortable. And there is no risk of leaving your purchase somewhere. Although there are tents with packages. But it’s more convenient for me to walk with a backpack.
  5. Bring some snacks with you. Yes, there are a lot of food outlets there. But all of them, to put it mildly, are not cafes (in the usual sense of our word). There is no guarantee of compliance with sanitary conditions, etc. The choice is yours, but I couldn’t help but say it. But buy water, chocolate, tea without any problems.
  6. Small children and newborns with strollers should be left at home. Yes, there are such mothers there. But there are too many people. And this is not a comfortable shopping center, but a market. Remember this.
  7. There are toilets. Paid, but quite tolerable.
  8. Make a rough shopping list. Because there, in the bustle, you can simply forget why you came.
  9. Cash only. With rare exceptions (when translation can be made). They don't give any receipts. Stock up on small bills (1000, 100, 50 rubles).
  10. A shoulder bag where valuables and money are visible. Yes, there is security there. And the number of thefts today is not so large. But theft still happens. Be carefull.
  11. Cloth. It's essentially a street. Three years ago a roof was installed there (previously it was a mess of rain and snow during the cold season). But it's still not a store. It's quite cold there. Shoes are also important. Sneakers, sneakers, boots, not high heels.
  12. No haggling. Despite the fact that this is a market, asking someone to give you 50-100 rubles for a sweater that costs 500 rubles is ridiculous. There is no trading on this row. Exception: if you take a lot of things in one tent (5-10) or buy one item for several thousand (in this case, you can ask for a little concession).
  13. Restraint and balance. The contingent of sellers, with rare exceptions, is specific. They may call you, call you, etc. It's better to just ignore it. Or answer politely. No one is grabbing hands, but don’t expect much politeness either. Commodity-market relations.
  14. With someone or alone. There are two opposite fronts here. Someone takes their husband (wife), mother, girlfriend with them. Some people prefer to shop alone. Quite a little time, you get tired quickly and there are too many tents. How do you feel more comfortable?
  15. If you get lost, forgot your things, or don’t know how to find a stop, contact the security guards. There are many of them everywhere. They'll tell you.

No fitting

Yes, there aren’t even the notorious cardboard boxes on which you can try on jeans. You see a product on a hanger, ask for your size. Pay money. You are handed a package. Will it fit? What quality the item will be is all rather a surprise. That's why the prices are so cheap. Unfold the package in the tent and see if you bought it.

They won't even let you try on your outerwear. But you can ask. Sometimes they make an exception when there are not many people.

You can try on shoes, but also quite quickly. No mirrors and 15 minutes of thinking about the purchase. I saw it, paid, took it. These are the rules at Sadovod in the cheap rows.

If you are allowed to try on, but there is no mirror, ask to take a photo of you and look at yourself from the outside.

About shoes

The shoe rows are located at the very beginning of the market (line 1 – 3). On the first line it is a little cheaper and you can find sneakers for 300 rubles. There are also leather shoes. But the prices are appropriate. In the freebie rows there are about 10 stalls with shoes of different price categories: from minimum prices to store-bought ones.

There are other lines on Sadovod. Even Fashion. Lots of beautiful and high quality things. But prices there are sometimes higher than in shopping centers. We are talking about free tents now.

Pavilion “Furs and Leather” at the Sadovod market

The Gardener Market is a huge trading area, which is divided into various categories of goods. Thus, a special pavilion at No. 5 was allocated for fur and leather products. It is also called the “Furs and Leather” pavilion. Not to be confused with line No. 5. A line is one of the corridors of the market, and a pavilion is a separate room consisting of lines on which fur salons are located. Some call one small store a pavilion and such confusion occurs. So, the pavilion is a department, in the department there are lines, and on the lines there are shops
