Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev held a meeting of the regional operational headquarters to combat coronavirus on Friday, October 22. Members of the operational headquarters unanimously supported the decision of the head of the region to establish a period of non-working days from October 25 to November 7 inclusive, while maintaining wages for workers. For this period, a package of restrictive measures will be introduced throughout the Voronezh region to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

First of all, the governor noted that it is necessary to discuss support measures in specific industries that will help mitigate the consequences of introducing restrictions.

– In my decisions I have proceeded and will continue to proceed from the priority of the value of human life. At the same time, the authorities must not only ensure the availability of medical care, but also support the region’s economy. I instructed the regional government, taking into account the planned federal state support, to make proposals for regional measures. They must be of an industry nature,” Alexander Gusev emphasized.

For the period of non-working days, from October 25 to November 7 inclusive, the work of retail trade facilities will be stopped, including in shopping centers, supermarkets, warehouses, fairs, markets and other facilities. There are exceptions: pharmacies, food sales points and cell phone stores. Retail outlets will also be able to operate if they have a separate entrance from the street and the sale of goods will take place remotely (through a pick-up point) or with delivery.

Work not allowed:

night clubs, entertainment and leisure facilities;
beauty salons, cosmetic and spa salons, massage parlors, solariums, baths, saunas and all facilities providing similar services;
catering Exceptions are the operation of take-out establishments without customers visiting the premises, delivery of orders, operation of canteens on the premises of enterprises, catering in hotels, train stations, airports and road service facilities outside populated areas;
non-stationary retail facilities for the sale of non-food products;
physical education and health complexes, sports facilities, fitness clubs, swimming pools.

Key manufacturers, car repair shops, funeral service organizations and rehabilitation centers for special children can continue to operate. Veterinary clinics are only allowed to provide emergency care to animals. Financial organizations are allowed to provide emergency services - payments and settlements.

holding mass physical education and sports events;
public, leisure, entertainment, entertainment, cultural, exhibition, educational, advertising and other similar events with the in-person presence of people, as well as the provision of related services, including in cultural and recreation parks, shopping and entertainment centers, and in places of public attendance;

Prohibitions do not apply to organizations whose activities cannot be limited in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation.
